RxT co-founder, Cathy Currie has worked in the medical field for more than 30 years. She started in the front office at a busy multi-physician medical practice, then transitioned into the billing department. After several years as medical billing professional, she transitioned into the outpatient surgery center niche, where she was entrusted to manage increasingly more complex operations.
Today, in addition to co-managing Rx Transcription & Coding, Cathy and her staff help clients stay current on the myriad of changing Medicare and private insurance billing guidelines, as well as Workers Comp and Insurance lien cases. She also oversees the company’s training program, making sure that new clients’ office personnel are thoroughly trained in RxT’s HIPAA compliant, secure web-based data exchange processes.
