Cathy Currie, Member ASCA
RxT co-founder, Cathy Currie has worked in the medical field for more than 30 years. She started in the front office at a busy multi-physician medical practice, then transitioned into the billing department. After several years as medical billing professional, she transitioned into the outpatient surgery center niche, where she was entrusted to manage increasingly more complex operations.
Today, in addition to co-managing Rx Transcription & Coding, Cathy and her staff help clients stay current on the myriad of changing Medicare and private insurance billing guidelines, as well as Workers Comp and Insurance lien cases. She also oversees the company’s training program, making sure that new clients’ office personnel are thoroughly trained in RxT’s HIPAA compliant, secure web-based data exchange processes.
Jill Anderson, Member ASCA
With a background in purchasing and finance, Jill Anderson partnered with Cathy Currie in 2001 to establish Rx Transcription & Coding. Jill’s business-centric perspective on the outpatient surgery industry helps ensure that clients benefit from efficient, revenue cycle management services matched to their specific markets and needs.
For the past 15 years, Jill has been co-managing Rx Transcription & Coding. In 2006, she spearheaded the company’s expansion into medical billing and coding, which has fueled prolific growth and helped the company secure a growing list of ASC and multi-physician medical group clients. Today, Jill oversees the company’s daily operations and staff of over 65 employees.
